The Valley–
In the northeast corner of the Tucson Basin, Tanque Verde Creek drains the northwest flank of the Rincon Mountains.  It is joined by Agua Caliente Creek which drains the southeast aspect of the Santa Catalina mountains.  The area is called the Tanque Verde Valley.  The pointer at the bottom of the map is aimed at the original Tanque Verde settlement, still shown as a separate community on some maps, now engulfed by Tucson suburbs.  The Tanque Verde Unified School District serves most of the valley.
